For applicants with higher arts education

Applicants who have finished a Higher Arts Education (for example Degree of Bachelor of Fine Arts or Degree of Master of Fine Arts, or are students at such educational institution, will be admitted membership on a rolling basis. You need to attach proof of your exam or an official certificate of studies from your school.

You need to indicate the name of the school, specialisation (sculpture, print, media art etc.) if applicable, and year of exam.

For applicants without formal arts education

A jury convenes regularly to handle applications for professional artists, craftspeople or designers without formal Higher Arts Education.

The applicant shall provide a CV/portfolio and documentation that demonstrates that the applicant is working professionally as and artist. The CV should for example list exhibitions, public commissions, arts projects, stipends and scholarships received, a link to the applicants webpage etc.

10 images, demonstrating artistic quality and technical skills must be uploaded with the application, together with a document listing information about the presented work, containing information about material, technique, size, and year.

Images are submitted electronically via the online application form.
